But on someone like Tom they look terrible because he has no idea how to work the directional designer freebies into his everyday wardrobe. He was much better buying things from Reiss - he understood what he was buying (a v neck t shirt, which is about at most men's limit of fashion understanding) and seemed to know how it worked with his other clothes.
Generally I think it is a travesty that TH gets on a lot,of best dressed lists. I don't think being well dressed is synonymous with looking amazing in a suit someone else has chosen and tailored for you.
