TBH I think he feels it is a bit of a storm in a teacup. He wasn't madly satirical and he actually said he kind of saw what Tom meant, only it came out all wrong.

And now a question that has been bothering me all day: what is a (humanitarian) dirty beer? The internet is not helping me here. It says that it is a beer your wife doesn't know about, but if you are working with MSF in a war zone, I am guessing your spouse doesn't know about any of your beverages....
