Modern pop is melodically simple, and lyrically banal, so that young MTV kids w/o attention spans can easily consume it at speed. But Sheeran, by all accounts, has a warm and gregarious personality and vivacious social energy that envelops everyone he meets, from Elton John to even Demi Moore. So b/twn Tom's desire to be liked and Ed's affability I'm pretty sure they get along, in truth. Swedish producer Max Martin seems to be the mastermind of all the pop artists now from, Swift, to Timberlake, The Weeknd, Grande, and to Perry. So I think that Tom should befriend Max : )
