Apparently there are a lot of Scientologists in the industry, especially in support professions - stylists, hairdressers, cinematographers etc. I can't imagine that TH would touch it with a bargepole, but it does explain the excessive thirst on her part. They suck in the more minor industry people by promising them access/success. If they achieve it, of course they attribute it to Scientology and not to the fact that it is just networking with a crazy cult overlay. So she has to peddle the "I am a Scientologist and look how I hang out with famous people" line, to show others how great it all is.
