Here is the Sir Kenneth Branagh "Happy Sad Confused" podcast with Josh Horowitz on MTV. He talks about casting Thor 1, Tom, and Chris Hemsworth at 23 minutes, and his 4 hour film production of Hamlet w Kate Winslet, Julie Christie, etc. Apparently Sir Ken might star in a version of Macbeth directed by Martin Scorsese. If so, Tom should try to nab a part in that film. Fassbender already mucked it up. I'm determined that someone has to be the first actor to win an OScar for a Shakespearean performance since Olivier for Halmet in 1949.
