>>340 I think in TNM, Tom was trying to be a self-contained amateur spy, and he tried to create mulitply identities while cloaking his Jonathan Pine emotions in multiple layers, and only letting them rise to the surface in certain situations. But that's an incredibly hard task.

Is Tom doomed to movie jail? Can Jessica Chastain pick him as a costar again, maybe? I've read Lolita Chakrabarti's play Red Velvet, which was pretty good. Can Lolita write Tom a hit play? I'm not sad, I just find it frustrating. After all, Tom co-starred in 2 box office franchises this year. He got top billing ahead of Samuel L Jackson in Kong and it made 566 million dollars, and costarred as Loki in Thor 3, which has made 800 million dollars, so far. Plus he won a golden globe for best male actor in a limited series for TNM. And finally succeeded in Hamlet on the stage, even thought it was only presented to about 25 people. I thought that TNM was a little slowly paced but was a stylish and beautiful film adaptation of the book, Kong was a badly scripted monster mash with stilted acting from the entire cast, and Thor 3 was a rollicking comedy for the comic book nerds.
