Why I believe Anonon’s friend: Humblebragging - it’s a thing TH knows intimately, as NewAnon said. He’s always done it, even before the humblebrag to end all: his GG speech. I can imagine him doing his version of Bond humblebragging. The rumor mill tells us he did a tape with Mendes that maybe got to Broccoli, maybe he spoke to her regarding it, everyone was hyping him as the next Bond, his face was everywhere because of Tayto. He’s going to talk about those. He’s going to humblebrag about them - because if he can do it in a room full of Hollywood elite on national television, he can do it standing around set. No he’s not going to flat out say that he’s going to be the next Bond, but he’s going to imply it like it’s part of some crazy wish fulfilment process.

As to his weather complaints. Okay, he’s gone to India and Africa. So that means he wouldn’t complain about the sun. Huh??? As arguments go, ehhh, that’s not a very good one.
