i made a shitty web font version of monafont （モナーフォント）:
https://github.com/pera/submona-web-fontit is slightly less awful than the default amerikano O.S. rendering, but it is still crap because it is not BDF bitmap font, yet, you might find it useful because it is just 52 KB (good for mobile!)。
