Well, right now it is in France. But soon, I beleive it could spill over the borders into other nations. Ignored, poverty stricken people who are pushed to the back, and stepped on by the upperclass which comprises the government reached their breaking point at the expense of the death of two young boys. They finally snapped and the rioting began. I feel it will soon escelate into the European Revolution.
It's already in Berlin. I've only heard of one case of arsony so far, but I doubt it will stop there.
Oh look, the Internet Marine is back with his usual sharp wit and keen insight!

He makes a valid point none the less. France is in a civil uprising, a new revolution. I think America is on the path to a similar uprising in the near future.
A civil uprising, a new revolution, or a bunch of hoodlums burning cars. It's all a matter of perpective, I tell you what.
Yes, more like right now a bunch of Hoodlums. But the demands are growing serious, first, the death of the two officers they blame. But now there are people rioting demanding parts of the government step down. The immagrant neighborhoods surrounding the big cities have been oppressed for about 30 some years now, the tensions have snapped and now the full out violence of that pent up anger has been shown. Its a matter of time before they truely spill over the borders and other nations have problems rather than a few small copy cat incidents.

"But over the past three decades, French governments of all colours have implemented an array of initiatives aimed at tackling widely documented problems."
Good article for anyone who thinks nothing has been done about the poor parts of French cities. However, it is naturally clear that whatever they have tried has failed in many ways.
Decent, even when Unemployment is at over 50% Yes, but america is a horrendious place if unemployement gets near 10%
