I look back and watch historical records. What I see are not just politicians, but men who give speeches which move nations. What I see are not countries, but people who have changed the world for better and worse in the most extreme of ways. Single leaders, lone champions and individuals without faces whom inspire justice, courage and pride within one's nation.
Today as of recent, I have lost faith in what should be believed in. Men have lost faith in themselves only to take faith in fate. There is no honor. No pride. No courage. What amount to leaders are uncaring idols. Champions are only hollow figurines. Individuals without faces are now a faceless mass flowing from a rotting wound.
Where have the days of romance gone to?
That was beautiful.
Romance is gone because reality is too present. we look because we now can, and it is too harsh to be romantic about.
I get my romance from anime, and i think it makes me a better person. But i can't look at the world and think it beautiful.
Behold the world, nay, humanity, as a fragile raindrop. In formation as society or a droplet a peice of particulate matter, though a problem first gathered the water into it's tensioned form. Today there are these countless groups led by a deepest formative concern.
History is caused by ripples of culture, temperature of economics, and shockwaves of the Greats (well and ill, and mayhap some fiction).
By this, today is cold with value dearth, and has winds of culture and it's lead. Yet...
...Yet there too is the thunder of exeptionally skilled and provided, and gale wind of the demagogue. Again the bolt of change too near will boil the precipitate. leave all of it in different form.
Greats rise above or with circumstance, by that wild wind does all change course.
There are the great and their personal romances; hope consideration and forebearance in one allow OUR chosen destinies and opportunity.
Storms clash, yet, snow to tender mist may the flow somehow be. 'Luck.
Romance is emotional folly.
