I'm addicted to this. Have to sprinkle it on my rice every time or else it would taste like something's missing. Who else loves it?

I always cook rice using chicken stock instead of water, that helps somewhat. Never tried this furikake. I'll grab some next time I'm at the Asian supermarket.

Ah that's how we make a dish called 'Chicken Rice' in my country! It's really delicious.
I especially like eating it with steamed chicken drenched in spicy soy sauce. Yummy!! -_-; getting hungry now lol
Let me know what you think of the furikake after you've tried it. :)

Furikake is love.

I switched from pork sung about a year or two ago. I like pork sung a lot, it's just that ... between pork and lard, and seaweed and salt, I think the latter is a bit healthier. :D

I LOVE IT. I have 2 glass jars of it in my dorm room but have been way too lazy to go hook up my rice cooker in the common kitchen and make the rice to put it on. I have Seto Fumi, and Katsuo Mirin flavors.

Does anyone know a brand offhand that doesn't have MSG? I seem to have a reaction to MSG (migraines). There seem to be three dozen different brands just at the local Japanese supermarket.

Probably none. Isn't MSG naturally present in seaweed?

I bought a bottle of Urashima traditional blend. It's pretty good. However, it seems I have to put a lot on in order for it to taste like much. (I'm used to soy sauce on rice, so perhaps I'm expecting too strong a flavor.)
