Sports drinks; Pocari Sweat and similar [Recipes] (5)

What really good homemade sports drink recipes do you have?

Having been given a package of Pocari Sweat powder, I developed quite a fondness for the thing, but they don't sell it here, so I'm wondering if anyone happens to know a good recipe that approximates it. It's not as much the flavour I'm after as the effect it has on me, as it obviously hydrates better than plain water alone. I liked the powder as well as it easily enabled me to add more water than the pack said I should use.

Water mixed with some apple or orange juice and salt, along with eating a banana on the side, is one of the tips I've gotten, but it's a bit too much of a hassle, for me.
