I would like to see some of the same. Here's my suggestions:

Macaroni casserole. Not quick but easy and cheap.

I use soy (crumbs/small dry particles) instead of beef because it's a lot cheaper. Chicken if I get it on sale works too. Easy to make a ton of at a time too.

Fried chicken or pork strips with rice or mashed potatoes. I found a great easy sauce for chicken; after frying in oil, add teriyaki sauce and some milk/cream and simmer for a cigarette brake. Delicious.

Omelettes. Nuff said.

Porridge. Experiment with it - I like to add some salami bits.

Also, buy a "almost ready to eat" storage for times you are hung over or lazy. Tuna, noodles, rice, soy, "just add water" soups, canned fruits and the like.
