No more heroes
I like how its a satire on "EPIC" plots in general not just games.
But I still consider Killer7 as a better game despite the change from its original script . Cant wait for
Flower, Sun and Rain in October so I can get some sort of understanding of his Kill the Past series.

Ys1 and getting close(r) to beating YS2.

130 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2009-04-19 05:04 ID:Uxa6OOA7

Batman Return of the Joker (NES). Pretty fun, pretty tough, but still enjoyable.

131 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2009-04-20 00:28 ID:a1KKRm9a

Just beat Super Mario RPG for the first time. I've played it before on the old SNES, but then the data got erased. I was near the end of the game too... So I never got around to finishing it cause I didn't feel like playing through the entire game. Now years later, and with the help of emulation I was able to finish what I started years ago.

Gotta say, the ending was pretty damned lame, but whatever.

132 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2009-04-21 16:02 ID:6/hTPRqw

I finished a game called "Lord Monarch" for the PC. there's only 15 levels, but they get really complicated at the end.

I'm pretty sure only like me and 30 other people have seen the ending screen of this game, so I took a screenshot to remember my triumph for ever.

Megaman 1-4 on NES.
1 was fucking tough. Fuck Fireman.
2 was a letdown. It's not as good as most people say.
3 was great. Despite the weapons not being as good as 2, it was a perfect balance in toughness and enjoyment.
4 was also great. People don't give it enough credit.

Also, Final Fantasy II (US SNES version). That sucked. Zeromus was the only high point of the game and even he wasn't hard.

>>133 here
Just beat Megaman 5 and 6.

5 was... eh. It's the true same old, same old Megaman if there ever was one. Nothing stood out for me. Although the introduction of secret breakaway passages was kind of cool. I honestly like 2 better.
6 is my personal favorite. Although when I was younger, I never beat it due to one reason or another. Likely because I had gotten an SNES soon after and due to the way our TV worked and was positioned, I could only have one system set at a time for a certain period of time, which severly limited the games I played. As a result, I never beat it. When I got the MMAC on PS2, I was stuck on plant man's stage because the spring section kept killing me. Died for a few times this time, but I managed to get past it for once. The rest of the game was too easy after that. I beat the game with 9 lives and 9 e-tanks. What the hell? I've always wanted certain megaman games to be a tad easier, but 6 was ridiculously easy. I didn't even USE an E-tank. It's my favorite, but man, after finally beating it, it's what I would definitely call a beginner's Megaman game.

135 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2009-04-24 05:45 ID:ot1pfqfK

Shatterhand. Holy shit, that game was ambiguous without the instruction manual.

136 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2009-04-25 00:52 ID:a1KKRm9a

Just finished Star Ocean: First Departure. Oh my god that game was fun. Definitely worth picking up in my opinion. I just love the battle system. Now to the store to get Star Ocean: Second Evolution, even though I own the original PSX version.

>>133

Now go play Final Fantasy IV. Its a whole nother ball game. Don't play the GBA version. It was like a mashup of the two.

137 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2009-04-25 03:27 ID:ot1pfqfK

>>136
I've played the PS1 version, which I lost a few years back. From what I recall, it's more or less the same just harder, with more/less stuff depending on the circumstance.

138 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2009-04-25 07:51 ID:ot1pfqfK

Sonic the Hedgehog (Master System ver.). Considering the medium, it's an impressive piece of work. The controls could use a bit of fine tuning, but the music and and graphics were really fucking good (Sky Base Zone is a cool song and the Jungle area looks wonderful). I'm surprised they pulled off so much in such a little package. A shame it was so short and most of the robotnik bosses were easy as pie.

139 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2009-04-27 06:15 ID:ot1pfqfK

Ghosts n' Ghouls for Master system. Pretty cool and a bit different from most games in the series.

140 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2009-04-28 01:01 ID:a1KKRm9a

Just finished Devil May Cry 1. I'm playing the series in out of order, started with 4, than 3 and now 1. I know three is a prequel to the first one, so its alright.

I had fun playing it, but it felt way too short.

I don't remember why, but I stopped playing DMC 1, even though it was fun... I think at the time, I didn't quite "get it"

142 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2009-04-29 00:01 ID:3RrT5Icw

Just made it through Saints Row 2 100%

Also, Crysis on Delta. Damn tough aliens, but I made it! :3

Now working on making it through Serious Sam 1st Encounter on Mental difficulty. I guess it'll take a looong time.

143 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2009-04-30 04:21 ID:ot1pfqfK

Neutopia 1. That third to last boss was a pain in the ass and I barely beat the last one with pretty much "1 HP" left (Although, I'm not sure what I should call the fraction since it's not really "half" even though it is pictured that way).

On to Neutopia 2!

144 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2009-05-01 11:59 ID:ot1pfqfK

Donkey Kong GB/94.

Not that hard once you get backflipping and triple jumping down.

145 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2009-05-04 05:38 ID:XE+PqPR+

Just beat MadWorld today. Picked it up again to decide whether or not I would get rid of it (the controls were really giving me shit during the Mad Castle stage), and ended up playing it all the way to the final fight.

I have to say that I wasn't nearly as disappointed in the ending as I expected to be from reading other people's opinions. Still a bit confused by the story, though.

146 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2009-05-04 11:47 ID:ot1pfqfK

Twinbee 3 for the FC/NES. Eh, pretty tame and archaic compared to the later games.

147 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2009-05-12 14:18 ID:6/hTPRqw

I Just beat Final Fantasy Legend. I could have beaten it WAY long ago, but I thought the final "tower" was going to involve much more wandering around than it did. I got to the creator, and started my pwnage, (although my Monster apparently couldn't even TOUCH him for some lame reason.)

I got tired of trying, and Saw'd him to pieces. Good ending, but I already knew about it so it was kinda anti-climactic. What I wanna know is if anyone has ever Walked through walls in the cerator's room and seen if you could get into that door???

148 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2009-05-13 23:07 ID:ot1pfqfK

I'm going to bet it's just one of those prop doors that doesn't even do anything. Sort of like those chests you can't ever get to behind the shopkeeper's counter in nearly every RPG ever.

Even today though, I always think: "Those bastards probably put a second [best weapon that there's only one in the game of] in one of those chests."

Also, I just beat Metroid 2. A nice blend of 1 and Super, but damn did the music SUCK and so did the sound effects. I had to turn the volume off. Another thing that sucked was my end time. 3:10. 11 minutes away from bikini Samus. Although, it's my own fault for screwing around and missing jumps so much. Oh well.

149 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2009-05-19 21:05 ID:/2p0d35N

I just beat Gear of War 2 in coop with a bro. In my humble opinion, the game was a great improvement over the first one, much better paced and it is appreciated that they at least attempted to give it a plot.

... and damn, poor Carmine.

Ignoring the spam fag.Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters.

It was really good. Much better than the original and even better than Metroid II. It's only problem was that it was too short and easy.

156 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2009-05-22 09:23 ID:pJTzS/Bt

Just finished Persona 3 FES (The Journey, not the Answer yet). To tell the truth, I was pretty disappointed. I think I was expecting something more like Nocturne.

157 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2009-05-25 04:38 ID:9jbQv15y

Fallout 3. Just the normal ending, though. I still have The Pitt, Broken Steel, and a ton of side quests to do...

I was kind of dissapointed too. The fight with the Avatar of Nix was so... easy. I was expecting it to start crushing me really hard at some point, but it just died. And that was the end of it. Maybe i was overprepared, or perhaps min/maxing in rpgs is too easy for me, i don't know.

The music was cool though.

161 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2009-06-05 01:57 ID:a1KKRm9a

Bahamut Lagoon on the SNES. Its so easy to break the game near the end. First off, one of your dragon's get infinite HP if you raise it right, and then when you can afford it, buy as many Magic Gins you can buy. Theres no penalty for using items, cause its not turn based, so if you run out of mana, just refill it and blast away in th same turn.

Also the princess is a whore.

162 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2009-06-06 07:23 ID:XE+PqPR+

Beat No More Heroes on Bitter (New Game +) today.

Funny thing about this game is that even on the hardest difficulty, the final boss isn't that tough -- it just takes FOREVER to beat him.

163 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2009-06-06 17:32 ID:SdmKZgmx

butcher bay and dark athena. less then a day for each.

164 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2009-06-10 15:00 ID:6/hTPRqw

I just bought Blacksite Area 51 the other day for tenbux, and beat it over the weekend. Ahh, I like a quick FPS every once in a while to relieve me from my RPGs.

Gotta say though, it was a buggy game. Be it mixed up event triggers, spawning with only one weapon, sounds not loading, or falling through the level - it'll be a while before I plan on picking it up again. Nothing to do after the game is done, either. Weren't that many diff kinds of enemies, and only a few different kinds of guns.

Add to that - The main "villain" was exactly a bad guy. I mean, one of your "teammates" basically tortured him for 3 years. He sais during the last battle "She kept me in a cage!" At the end map, she complains that the black siteprogram had full funding, no oversite, "nobody to tell them it was torture." I seriously wanted to turn to her and be like, "Are you fuckin' serious?"

165 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2009-06-10 15:01 ID:6/hTPRqw

Also, finished Assassin's Creed. I really liked the game, though by the end of it I avoided all the save the citizens missions and the informer missions... DAMN YOU NON-CONCLUDING ENDINGS! DAMN YOU TO HELL!

166 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2009-06-14 05:56 ID:a1KKRm9a

Geneforge. Its not so much a game as a story. Its fun to be comepletely evil too. Damn rogue serviles. They must follow the will of the Shapers!

167 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2009-06-15 15:18 ID:6/hTPRqw

Finally finished Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass.

Overall I was left with a feeling that I had spent my time well. I never thought I was travelling around for no reason or wasting time. I wasn't as annoyed with the Ocean King's Temple as other people seemed to be, and actually was impressd with the last few floors because of how hard they were, and then how easy they became with all the items.

Still unsure if I'm going to get Spirit Tracks. From the looks of it, though, it looks like it's not a continuation of phantom hourglass, so the story could be good.

168 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2009-06-16 00:17 ID:nUilJC9V

Just finished Banjo Tooie on XBLA.

Never beat it as a kid so beating it now was awesome, Now just Grunty's revenge to beat and I can say i have beat all the banjo games

169 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2009-06-19 15:41 ID:6/hTPRqw

Just finisehd Disgaea 3. When I was fooling around in the Item World for a while, I inadvertently leveled up this totally awesome sword as well as Mao, thus rendering the rest of the story mode quite simple. I enjoyed the story, and all the new mechanics seem really well balanced. Tons of col features, and the ending is funny and disturbing... Poor Last Boss...

I had fun.

170 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2009-07-03 14:25 ID:dFhIk6L6

I just beat Soul Nomad & The World Eaters. It was a good game - tons of voice acting, hilarious characters, fun mechanics, easy min/maxing. And some plot twists that I sriously did not see coming at all. About halfway through the game I realised that use one squad was better than using many, had a 7 square squad filled with my hero in front, three archers in the middle, and two pyremages and a cleric in the back. I was simply untouchable. I was kinda lucky as that squad landed in a Hades room. that means, the more I use that squad on a map, the stronger they become until their stats double. 8000 potentiality squads would get annihilated in one hit. glorious. And how did such a badass game have such a happy ending? Demon path next.

171 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2009-07-10 05:42 ID:SdmKZgmx

just beat infamous today. loved how real and natural the characters acted. its a somewhat inconclusive ending meaning they are going to make a second one(i hope).

172 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2009-07-11 21:15 ID:SWrv0nmu

Devil May Cry. I posted >>9 in the stuck thread, sort of gave up, switched to easy. Easy was... way too easy. I wish there was some kind of inbetween difficulty, it would be perfect for me. Playing through 2 now, might as well mention it since the normal mode is easier than 1's easy mode and at this rate I'll probably done in an hour.

173 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2009-08-31 20:37 ID:6/hTPRqw

Just beat Summon Night: Swordcraft Story 2

It was fun - harder than the previous title, more character interactions (AND THANK THE GODS THEY ADDED SOME COLOUR), and a new game plus feature! I totally ignored swords and axes. Knuckles were way too good in the last game so they nerfed them in this one. Spears for air enemies, and drills for the stubborn defensive types. Some plot twists I did not see coming, too.

174 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2009-09-02 14:24 ID:6/hTPRqw

Finished Mirror's Edge. Some people say it's too short. I disagree - the game couldn't have been much longer or the gameplay would have gotten stale. I think they may have meant they wish the game's plot focused on something more... permanent. Making some kind of difference.

In any event, great fun - I always enjoyed mowing everyone down.

175 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2009-09-20 01:56 ID:a1KKRm9a

Touhou Imperishable Night. Its the first touhou game I ever played. Man I suck at it. I've only finished Easy mode with Reimu and Yukari. In Normal difficulty I do really good through the first 3 stages, but then I get owned by Marisa, and if I somehow beat her, Reisen Undongein Inaba finishes me off.

176 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2009-09-21 15:19 ID:IABh0ITn

Finished Batman: Arkham Asylum. One of the best games of the Dark Knight. The replaying value stands only in the Challenges of Fighting and Stealth, the story mode could be a little longer though.

177 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2009-09-22 18:37 ID:211GknT2

>>175
Imperishable Night is not a very friendly game for new players. It requires a lot of memorization of spell cards. I would suggest starting with a different game, Perfect Cherry Blossom would be my first suggestion, but I am biased in that regard. Perhaps you might like the Mountain of Faith/Subterranean Animism system better.

Also, my captcha was botchadge. olo.

178 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2009-10-03 21:26 ID:9wQ1Yd2u

I beat my friend's copy of Force Unleashed yesterday. Decent action game thats made much better since I'm a big star wars fan.

Kind of want to pick it up used, but its so damn buggy.

179 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2009-10-05 04:08 ID:tq66LqW8

Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days. Onto Persona.

180 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2009-10-10 21:37 ID:ozI6HnZO

I finished Tales of Hearts.

Took me forever, because although the story was great, going through the dungeons and even fighting bosses got really goddamn tedious about two thirds of the way through. I don't know how I used to get through so many JRPGs.

However it was worth it all for the line "Sorry to keep you waiting FOR TWO THOUSAND YEARS". What a dick. Also one scene made me cry harder than I think I have ever cried at a game before.

181 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2009-10-14 12:41 ID:tq66LqW8

After 24 hours of gametime, Demons Souls! It feels great to have beaten it.

182 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2009-10-18 10:15 ID:KLpXulvU

I beat Uncharted 2 in one sitting. It was a long 10 hour sitting but it was worth it. Highly recommended. I literally was so hooked I didn't even eat lunch or dinner as playtime started at 8am and ended at 6pm then took at stretch and came back to tinker with unlocks and a little multiplayer.

183 Name: Otakun : 2009-11-13 08:20 ID:GznpnHgV

Finished Chrono Trigger on my snes emulator... Nothing like a good classic played while mostly pressing the fast forward 2x button! Good classical story

184 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2009-11-14 10:46 ID:KLpXulvU

Managed to beat Phantasy Star Zero twice on 2 seperate characters clocking in at 12 hours on the first one and 7:50 on the 2nd due to me skipping all the talking and cutscenes. Fun game, definately would recommend to all PSO nostagia addicts.

Finished Black for PS2.

It's basically Doom with terrorist commandos instead of demons.

187 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2009-11-16 23:47 ID:211GknT2

I liked Black because you had to use shotguns to open doors. Every single door.

Finished Tales of Destiny II (Eternia everywhere outside of America) not too long ago. I couldn't finish the game with the main character due to how the final boss works. Moving him out of the first player slot helped a lot. Finished the game thanks to that (and Max.)

I may go for Persona or Grandia next.

189 Name: Marathon Gamer : 2010-01-09 05:53 ID:C/71LdRK

I just finished Metal Gear Solid for the first time in about 8 or 9 years. And all in one day (since I don't have a memory card for my playstation. lol).

I feel like my eyes are going to fucking bleed. Fuck.

Fuck.

190 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2010-01-10 10:39 ID:KLpXulvU

I actually scratched 2 games off my to-do list this week: Muramasa and House of the Dead: Overkill. I've done the 2nd endings on Muramasa and will probably go back to get the 3rd ending on both characters. The art and gameplay feel a lot better than Odin Sphere and the fact that you don't have to spend time grinding HP levels makes me very happy. Both Muramasa and Odin Sphere are some of my favorite games though as they manage to make me feel like a kid playing his SNES again.

Oh and HotD:Overkill has to have more cursing in it than any other movie, video game, or rap album I've ever heard.

191 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2010-01-18 16:32 ID:6/hTPRqw

I just finished Eat Lead: the return of Matt Hazard. Fun times, and the pistols were probably the best weapons because they killed instantly with headshots. I liked how the skirt guns worked best on the soak'em guys. But those damned space marines... Anyway, the only annoying part was the final final area where you had a whole crapload of player-characters spawning at the end. It was really freakin hard to kill them all without getting a instantly fatal shot out of nowhere.

Anyway, also bought and cheat-finished a few NES games - Abadox (HOW WOULD ANYONE FINISH THIS LEGITIMATELY!?), Astyanax (The strangest hit boxes I've EVER seen), and Amagon (Another one-hit-kill game, infinite power when transformed and infinite lives change the game from "throw at screen" to "playable. Good soundtrack.)

192 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2010-01-19 15:39 ID:6/hTPRqw

Also just finished Ring or Red, and Okage: Shadow King.

Ring of red: Graphics strike a chord with me, story bleh, characters bleh, missions groan, gameplay ULTROS WIN.

Okage: Graphics/animations lame, art good, gameplay alright, story interesting, heroes amusing, humour ULTROS WIN.

Just finished BioShock. great game. Scary turns into actiony at just the right pace. Also, the reveal was masterful.

196 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2010-01-28 23:24 ID:7zDpOALH

Reinstalled recently, and just got through Kotor 2. That game was pretty awesome the first time I played it (when it came out) and it's still good, and I'm actually playing through it again with a new character, but damn obsidian left so much content out, and there are so many glitches that they never even bothered to fix, I feel like I should write them a very stern letter.

I'm all about the unfinished games, since rpg developers are wont to release games that aren't ready for release yet, but only if the cockbreath creators FIX it with patches later on. Needless to say,

Obsidian gets a big black mark next to their name for this.

I'm glad there's so many mods for it though, or it wouldn't be worth playing. Actually, I'm most glad for the 'skip peragus' mod, because, for pete's sake, it gets just a little boring to go through all that pointless shit over and over again.

197 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2010-02-01 14:15 ID:6/hTPRqw

That's the ONE thing I like about PC gaming over console gaming - mods can make the games either better things, or simply make them much more enjoyable.

198 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2010-02-02 08:44 ID:7sgHCHD3

Just finished the Half-Life mod "Paranoid". If the friendly AI was a little better, and the game longer (a lot longer- since it was just a short mod, after all), it could be made into a pretty decent game.

Wow, that sounds pretty cool actually

I just finished Mass Effect 2.

Mordin died. Feels bad, man D:

201 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2010-02-12 04:21 ID:KLpXulvU

Been playing White Knight Chronicles a ton the past week. I really really enjoy this game despite it's pretty obvious problems. Finished story mode and I was a bit disappointed that by the time the story actually got interesting it ended, but it's supposed to be a trilogy so that wasn't too much of a surprise. The online mode is pretty fun as well so I'll probably clock a lot of time on it before I actually stop playing.

202 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2010-02-24 20:14 ID:2jAQ2uRa

Just finished Hitman 2.

Completely awesome.

It wasn't one of those 10 hour shmups that developers have been cranking out these past few years.

The story was OK (not great, but there was nothing wrong with it really), and the levels are multipath. You can choose from generally 2 or 3 ways to kill any given target. You can also choose whether or not to use stealth, etc.

Really great. And a lot of replay value of course, since there are different difficulty levels and different ways to proceed through levels.

It was one of those games you can get lost in and play for a whole day without even blinking. So much win...

203 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2010-03-16 01:34 ID:eTR/avLv

**Battlefield: Bad Company 2

Single Player for that game was wicked. I wasn't expecting much, it IS a Battlefield game after all. But now that I wrapped it up after about 10 hours, I noticed that it lasted me twice as long, I had pretty much more fun and looks better than Modern Warfare 2.

It was also 10 bucks cheaper, and it's multiplayer kicks ass.

**Mass Effect 2

Best game ever. Period. (At least for me)

And yah, Mordin died on me too. No spoilers there though.

**Saints Row 2

Beats GTA IV ass any day. Sure, it runs fucking slow and is the worse optimized port in existence, but is oodles more fun and customizable.

Just beat street fighter the original by capcom (psp version on capcom collection)

first fights up to thailand (adon, then sagat) took me less than 2 hours.

Adon took me 3 days of on and off playing

Sagat took me a solid week of on and off playing
fuck capcom's sagat design and his cheezy ai. i raged. then flipped off my psp when i beat him.

then raged again at the lack of an ending.

I finished GENETOS a while back, and it was really good. The presentation was great.

I just finished Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles. Really fun, one of my favorites.

Just finished Fable.

You age SO FUCKING FAST in it. WHYYYYYYYY?

I was older than the guild master by the time I finished it. WTF.

Finished Suikoden Tactics. Gameplay was fun, but the story was pretty stupid. Overall, if I played it again, I'd ignore the story.

Just finished Contact. I thought I liked it, until I read a negative review that pointed out some of the flaws of the game, and I couldn't quite disagree. I think maybe if I played the game in a shorter span of time, it might be better, story wise.

Gameplay was fun, but it annoyed me that the game doesn't really expect you to level up your clothes until after you've finished it. I didn't unlock more than the second skill in any of the clothes before I finished the game.

This is really taking far too long. I say we all register accounts, mature them, and all hit the same board within the same 10 minutes. There'll be uproar.
SBAllen hasn't had to deal with any major shit since he took over. It's time we inducted him into the real world.

Finished Bioshock for the first time. I enjoyed it. How the final boss died was hilarious.

I saved the Little Sisters, but I heard the game is slightly different if you harvest them instead, so I'll probably replay the game soon.

Don't bother. You only get a slight increase, like 10 or 100 units of adam.

Harvesting just ONE little sister give you the bad ending. Harvesting ALL of them gives you the horrendously bad ending. It's the same as the bad ending, but the dubbing is MUUCH more bitter.

Go to youtube, save yourself some time.

BLAM just finished Tales of Symphonia.

Great game, currently playing the sequel, which is a different kind of JRPG, but I still enjoy it.

Just finished Diablo. I've played it before, but some reason I felt like playing it again. I played as a Rogue. The Rogue is pretty kick-ass in the beginning, but quickly becomes weaker as the game progresses. I was barely able to defeat Diablo.

Just started playing Diablo II as a Whirlwind Barbarian. Thus far I'm in Act 3 and probably around level 18 or so.

Finished Crisis Core.

Fuck you, Shinra. Fuck. You.

Also, Genesis and all that Loveless crap seriously got annoying.

I finished Witcher. Theres still the bonus side stories to go through now. I sided with the Order. Sigfried is too awesome to side with pansy little terrorist elves!

219 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2010-10-28 02:49 ID:LmYL3xd/

Finished Jericho. Its pretty cool, though I felt the game was way too short.

I beat Startropics for the NES; I LOVE some of those devious traps they used, and how some of the dungeons didn't have bosses, but to compensate were ABSURDLY FUCKING HARD.

I like the rooms where upon entering you just fall into water and fucking die.

Finished Zettai Zetsumei Toshi 3. Fun game, though the last collapsing staircase was hellishly frustrating. I must have died at least 30 times in there.

Now I want to play the first two. Also looking forward to my order of Ryu ga Gotoku 1 & 2 to arrive.

Finished ZHP: Unlosing Ranger vs Darkdeath Evilman

I just could not put that game down. I love both Disgaea, and Roguelikes, so there was no way I could dislike the game. But it took the normally grinding, uninteresting bits about roguelikes and made me love them.

I just finished クロヒョウ・龍が如く新章. Now going for 100% completion in "PREMIUM ADVENTURE" mode. Incidentally, did anyone else find the level cap far too low? I kept getting useless XP since I'd maxed out my level by street fighting somewhere around chapter 6.

I just completed Rune Factory, starting Avalon Code. I'm also a day away from finishing Bladerunner, an old point-and-click adventure game from the late 1990s released by Westwood. It's an amazing game with a great story, and they use a lot of the actors from the actual film to voice this game.

226 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2010-12-05 05:14 ID:LmYL3xd/

I just finished the Chzo Mythos series of games. They're 4 independent point-and-click adventure games with a mystery/horror setting. The series was pretty cool, though the end posed more questions than it answered in my opinion. They each take about two hours to finish, but I recommend replaying the game with commentary on after you finish them. The commentary answers a lot of questions.

You can download them all for free at http://www.fullyramblomatic.com/games.htm

Titles in order are:

5 Days a Stranger
7 Days a Skeptic
Trilby's Notes
6 Days a Sacrifice

If you've ever been a /x/phile, I highly recommend the series.

>>226 Great series. Has anyone played Yahtzee's other games? I was thinking of giving Odysseus Kent a try...

I beat Touhou 06: EoSD for the first time! Granted, I only beat it on Normal mode with ReimuA, but considering that it's my first danmaku game, my piss-poor reflexes (I tried to catch a falling ruler in Physics for a reflex test, and I missed the whole damn thing. With my dominant hand. .___.), and the fact that I started playing EoSD during the summer, I'm pretty proud. Wish I could beat the Extra stage too...
