just face it gamefreak, the newer generations will never have the same experience that millennials had with your franchise. The novelty of trading pokemon is gone, and its place in the wider ecosystem of trading cards and collectibles is now decontextualized since nobody fucking collects and trades cards anymore. The primary audience of Pokemon will always be children of the 90s. There hasn't been a good pokemon game since diamond and pearl, just give it the fuck up already. You can't keep re-releasing the same game over and over. You're eventually gonna have to remake the remakes. I don't know man. I don't really have a point, I just don't like pokemon. Thank you for reading my blog.
poke yer mom
Uh people do collect pokemon cards there are streamers that sell packs of cards to people and open them on stream

Yeah, literally millions of people young and old(I remember seeing 9-year-olds ecstatic to see cards unboxed when I was old enough to look down upon them in any capacity) watch these streamers and every now and again throw some shekels to see them bend mind-bogglingly valuable cards.
I never played Diamond and Pearl but I liked Alpha Sapphire, Y and Ultra Moon
