How are things going and where are you at life right now?

I have been a hikikomori since I was 12.
Iā€™m 30 now and the world is crumbling.
All the artists and visionaries I looked up to are dead, dying or retired.
Gaming is dead, anime is dead, music is dead.
There is no reason to live..

There never is a reason to live, like there is no reason for forest fires except that some fuck probably started a fire somewhere. If anything, there are more reasons to die. But humans are programmed to live, because this is what all the generation before us did, and everyone who didn't is no longer alive. We are a forest fire.

>I have been a hikikomori since I was 12.
>anime is dead

Maybe use your time to actually research about what TV series/movies/OVAs are produced instead of writing stupid things here.

I agree with anon to a degree. They don't make anime like they used to. I still like some of the newer shows, but compared to 1990-2010 it's very different. 2000s anime was god-tier.

Yeah. Nothing screams healthy like sequels, remakes, incomplete cash in adaptions, more sequels, more cash in adaptions and creeping western and chinese influence.

The things that anime watchers and anime makers deem cool and interesting today aren't the same as the things that anime watchers and makers thought were cool and interesting 20 years ago. This is the real issue rather than quality or originality. There was shlock then and there is shlock now. There's still quality and original stuff released today. It's just that it's all... different

>sequels

As in multiple seasons instead of a continuous full year of TV airing?
Give me a break.

>remakes

They've been made since the early 80s and you also make it sound as if remaking TV series is a a serious phenomenon when in reality you can count yearly remakes with your fingers...of just one hand.

>incomplete cash in adaptions

Now you might be just trolling because incomplete TV series have been there since Japanimation itself was created.

>creeping western and chinese influence

This is possibly the only real concern.

I don't know why (Or, maybe I do - it's complicated) but I haven't been able to write properly for... About two weeks or so. I used to be able to put out a solid ~2000 words a day damn near every day but these days I'm struggling to even get started. I'm worried I'm losing 'the magic'.

Things have not been going well at all and it's a struggle to get out of bed every day.

Terrible. I lost my job and the only reason I'm not homeless right now is because of squatters rights. Really feeling NHK vibes.
