I am surprised a thread was not made before, but anyway here you can talk about Yostuba&! and all its wonderfullness.
My favorite characters are Koiwai and Fuuka, and they double as a good couple even though that would make Koiwai a pedo. Yotsuba herself is adorable and can really make you happy and stuff.
Who be your favorite characters?
Yotsuba all the way.
Fuuka=best, her older sister (forget her name) is also awesome
Ena>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>all but Ena
Yotsuba-chan she is so cute and she doesnt understnad some of the things are not good for a little girl to know but hi that what makes it funny! ^^
Miura-chan
first time i read yotsubato, i think miura-chan is a boy... hahaha
I just finished reading the latest volume of Yotsuba&! (volume 12). It was splendid as usual, although I was a little disappointed at the lack of Fuuka and Asagi. However, I was pleased that Miura's hot mom made a few appearances.
I wish that Yotsuba&! was longer. I wish that it would follow Yotsuba's whole life, all throughout school and adulthood, and the stories of the people around her, but all revolving around her. An epic tale of a lifetime, slowly told one day at a time.
Of course, that will never happen and it probably shouldn't. Yotsuba is meant to stay young forever, after all. 12 story-weeks have passed since the beginning, written over the course of about 10 years. If Azuma keeps drawing at the same rate, it will take about 33 real years for the first year of Yotsuba to finish. And yet I can't help wanting more.
Do you know of any manga like Yotsuba but longer? I'm thinking long span, slice of life with enough light quirky humor to keep it interesting, and beautiful clean art is a plus. The best one I can think of is Oyasumi Punpun, but that tends to be a little too teenage angsty.
Before you mention it, I'm already reading YKK. It's great, but not quite what I'm looking for.

Amanchu? I was going to say YKK, hahaha.
Fuuka is great, but my favourite 'character' is the scenery. It feels so real, like you could take a walk there. It is what makes Yotsuba& something more than just a simple comedy. The world lives and breaths around the characters and that creates this warm feeling to the series. I'm not good at explaining.
Miura is the greatest, by far.
I bought the first six volumes yesterday. I'm really enjoying the series so far!
My heart is filled with joy becasue through the help of Dr.Ozama i have been able to play football for the club of my choice. There are so many agents out there promising people that they will help you and they will always fail to help you, But in this case Dr.Ozama is not an agent but a spell caster that will cast a spell for you and within 21 days the club of your choice will be begging you to play for them. All just have to is contact Dr.Ozama through these details via email: ozama.templeofsoccer@yahoo.com or via phone number on +2348056934252 and within 21 days your request will be granted
I love this manga. It's a great introduction to reading Japanese.
Yanda is good.
Yanda is my favorite male character in the series.
The tricks he plays on Yotsuba are always funny.
The art style is really nice. I like how there's all the really pretty and detailed backgrounds which contrast nicely with the more simple (not bland or boring, just simple) character designs. The language is simple and easy to understand for kids, and the format almost seems to be made to teach kids a new word every chapter. But, there's also humor and cuteness to keep adults entertained too. Azuma-sensei really is a genius.
> Yanda is good.
Yanda is best
I bought the first 12 volumes in Japanese so that had some light material to practice reading with, and I'm glad I did. It feels really good to understand a section and be able to laugh about a gag that I understood without having to look up any words.
I am reading Yotsuba right now i am on the 5th book.
I read this manga on the toilet.
