Looks neat, a translation is added to each post form English to Japanese and the other way around too.

Question is, are the translations accurate?

Reminds me of 10ch, except the translations there seem to be done by humans rather than robots.

>robots

I mean a machine.

wew it turns out it uses bing for translations, so yeah, they're probably not super accurate.

Do they actually use Bing?

I was hoping they actually were using their own engine they could change/modify

Yeah according to https://en.tanobb.com/Question/35 (I don't know how to link to the specific post he said it, it's #13 tho), although users can change the translation so it's better understood by others.

I mean the automatic engine.

Woops, mis-read that post.

So yeah, its Bing. Users being able to change the translation is good and I already noticed it, still disappointed that they don't own the engine itself.

Yeah, you'd think for a site like this they'd use their own engine.

How would owning the engine conceivably help?

they'd be able to change it, that is , make it better, rather than being limited to how poor quality the translations of bing may be.

Someone posted a link to 4-ch there, for better or for worse.

We got a reply though

>It seems to talk about the translation engine.
>In a multilingual Bulletin Board
>I thought "translation API + human modification" is more efficient and effective. I think for Tanobb translation engine in the future, development will be conducted.

The translation is a little garbled but you can probably understand it.

Oh hey look, someone got on that little 2ch thread:

      ハ,,ハ
     ( ゚ω゚ ) お断りします
    / \
  ((⊂ ) ノ\つ))
     (_⌒ヽ
      ヽ ヘ }
 ε≡Ξ ノノ `J

"To use when you want to reject others requests or suggestions."

Are we supposed to add those to the Study thread on the AA Bar? Does anyone even care anymore?
