Socially awkward trap, scared to get a job (18)

So, i'm a trap, i'm socially awkward, and i need to get a job. i've got learning disabilities that make it difficult for me to be stationary in a room with people for any extended period of time... and i'm terrified of trap-phobia. i know i'll have to put up with it at some point, but i've had enough of it in my life already, and i just don't want it from my first boss... i'm just scared. What do i do?

Make yourself stop feeling this is so important.
There will always be people who will hate your gut for no reason. You might get lucky this time, you might not, but in the end that doesn't matter. Make sure you have a lot of other good things in your life, so that you easily can get rid of frustration in a good way. Also, you need to have emotional support: friends as well as people who've been in good and bad situations due to being a trap.

Pick up a very physically active non-trap related hobby (good way to meet people + conversation topic + helps you feel not only comfortable but also very happy with your body) if you don't have one already, and start talking with fellow traps (online will probably be the easiest).

What kind of learning disabilities do you have, if you don't mind answering?

But yeah. Your first boss isn't as important as you make it. And remember, people can smell fear @_@ ...Okay, so I was being silly, but seriously: If you want to do as well socially at work as you can, you need to put yourself in a situation that will help you feel laid-back and ..serene? If you're nervous, you're more likely to act stiff, twitch in fear and act in other weird and off-putting ways. People will react to your body-language. If you act weird, you're making it a lot more likely that they'll act weirdly right back at you, developing a dislike for you and making them feel generally uneasy around you.

in short: get a good life outside of work. if you have a rich life, an annoying boss will just be a nuisance rather than a big problem.

If your boss gives you a hard time, relay him over to me. I love old men with an imperious streak, sends my cock over the moon.

options:

  • accept your fate assuming you gave your best
  • or just suicide (also an option!)

otherwise you will live pathetically.

(in before moralfags)

Those are the options.

Just do what your heart tells you to do and listen to it.
There is no wrong or right just the pretentious society.

It should be fairly easy to stop being a trap, right? Just grow a beard.

pfft no need to die just yet...

just try to find a trap friendly place to work, easier said than done, I know, but it just means you'll just have to cast your net a little wider when looking for work.

In order to be a trap and not become an hero, you have to be a very strong person. Both to combat adversity and to find personal happiness.

try not being a trap for a while. unless you like the extra attention...

if you ask me, extra attention will not help with social problems.

unless you're that awesome of a trap. who knows.
