Dunno about working from home. I've seen ads online for stuff like that. I know some people get paid by companies to assemble stuff by hand. They send you a box of stupid parts, for instance, you work on like a ton of them and then send it back. Those are odd jobs though.
Then there are people who do transcription, data-entry, translations, document coding, telemarketing from home.
