There is nothing novel in people expecting that Heaven on Earth will be established in the near future; novel, however, is that microelectronics will do that job, rather than the Grace of God. I am not exaggerating: expectations are so unrealistic that what should be reasoned discourse sounds more often than not like people participating in a strange ritual, faithfully reciting prayers in a language they don't understand.
