Are you sure you really enjoy things at all?

Can it be said that two rats fucking actually enjoy the act? To an outside observer looking at the situation objectively, all that seems to occur within the rats is a momentary change in brain chemistry and an exchange of bodily fluids. Can that truly be called joy? Is happiness merely defined by consensus?
