I change rule 8 to
"8. (m) Game ends when thread hits >>999. Every post number divisible by 30 is hereby appointed appointed "Judge." If a contradiction in the rules is called into question, the next Judge must rule on the case, and his or her interpretation will be law. Until the Judge rules, the rule with the lower number will take priority over the rule with the higher number."

Note that this is more than 300 characters, but Rule 11.(m) only applies to newly added rules, so my move is legal.
