Random faces please!
>>50-52
I want to put a dick through your ear for most of these.
I still like this the best
⊙︿⊙ this poor emoticon knows that lacking its protective shell, it will soon die of exposure and dehydration as its soft insides evaporate.
:U I can't wait for random faces!
Random feces. Let's stick to a single but good one.
>>65 just a dokyun's opinion:
Also, I feel a little as if too much "fluff" on the board will distract from the traditional BBS feel.
I'll take this opportunity to congratulate you for taking care of this board, thank you very much.

I will (eventually) work on making the captcha cookie free then. Do you guys think it should still use cookies if they are allowed, though? At the moment the advantage is that the captcha stays the same until you actually post (or the cookie expires). Weirdly I find this quite nice because by the time I actually post I've sort of processed it already. Does anybody have a good argument against using cookies in any form?
I should add that cookies are also used to save what you last had in the name field, so there's no point in removing cookies like suggested above if we still keep this feature.
I'm inclined to agree about the fluff/bloat to the BBS interface. Perhaps I could make it into a "user script" instead, and just put it in the Channel4 services pages.
Archival will take place in the near future.
Keep the thoughts coming, and add more suggestions if you have any.

The cookie captcha is not good the way it is because it often results in a bug where I have to clear my browser cache to get the captcha to refresh.
I don't think we need JavaScript floating quotes or auto quotes. It would be nice if you could fix the annoyance where people can post really long strings that make the screen scroll rightttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt
and thanks for all your hard work!

I shall look into both things.
I don't feel comfortable with so many changes at once!
>>72
But in practice the only thing you'll notice is the name change.
>>73
But I just wanted cute Shii. That's all I wanted in my life.
>>74
you could always use cute Shii as your name. If it catches on with at least a couple other users it's still basically anonymous.
>>70
Isn't that just removing support for the nobr tag in HTML mode?
I like cute Shii, perhaps I will use this even when the face generator is added.

I don't think that you can just randomly convert a THREAD into a SONG THREAD.

Make it something whimsical like ( ˃ ˂) again, shii makes me feel like I have to be snide and bitter in every post to match the face.
