Here's what I dug up from some quick googling:
cboyardee's real name is Eric Shumaker. He was a member of Tales of Game's Studios which developed Barkley, Shut Up and Jam: Gaiden! and the failed kickstarter sequel Barkley 2. The studio has been quiet since 2014. His last tweet was 12 Nov 2016. The most recent activity I could find was on his soundcloud, with a 1 year old upload [https://soundcloud.com/cboyardee] which makes me think he hasn't completely given up his cboyardee handle.

Perhaps he has one or more secret identities which are well hidden, or perhaps he's just spending less time online. Or maybe he's actually still working hard on Barkley 2 (I doubt it).
