I saw a magazine article - National Geographic? - about "nyotai-mori" with a Geisha girl flat on a table with sushi arranged on top. Supposed to be very expensive.

Personally, I prefer serving something you don't eat with utensils on myself. Imagine cherry tomatoes...ouch
