I did what >>3 suggested. The teriyaki sauce, not the trowing up part (But already happened once and my mother still doesn't care). I used a bastard version of teriyaki; Soy sauce, vodka (there is no sake or mirin in my house and vodka was the only thing i could find) and orange honey. It was not all that good (i blame my lack of cooking technique), but still it was something.
My sister tried with a homemade hot chili sauce, but it was so hot nobody was able to eat it anyways ^^
