PS3 IS THE FUTURE
Xbox is the PRESENT
Nintendo is the PAST

Nintendo machines suck
Playstation is superior

This place is generally too slow to allow for decent trolls. I'm not saying you shouldn't try, but it's probably not going to be very exciting.

the future is a dystopia i see

>PS3 IS THE FUTURE
>Xbox is the PRESENT
>Nintendo is the PAST

Therefore,
PS3 = Skuld: Technically advanced but seldom works properly
Xbox = Belldandy: Pretty and pleasant to be around, but nothing exciting about it
Nintendo = Urd: Sexy body, likes making you do weird stuff

5 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2006-11-08 16:55 ID:LnW4l4rD

Umm, ps3 is so expensive that the only reason it's "teh futur" is that by the time you can afford it, the console wars will be over.

Also, as I said to someone last night.
Wii = "We" as in togetherness.
XBox360 = 360degrees of lonliness, all your friends are on XBox live.

It's time to get together and have fun with video games!!

Flamebait does not a troll make. It's just boring.

personally, i don't see the problem with sticking to an old atari 2600... it's probably the best console ever developed anyway.

15 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2006-11-13 19:48 ID:O5JQA3v+

>>14 Still pretty pricey compared to the Wii.

16 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2006-11-13 23:51 ID:q3srdBXB

Xbox = Mikuru (hueg, but not used)
Wii = Yuki (alien controller)
PS3 = Haruhi (shiny but acts like a bitch)

I actually have played a little of the Wii, even though I am a PC Gamer (PC ftw!) But, I think I shall purchase a wii now. Trauma Center is Hadoken. (Of course, I shall be purchasing a geforce 8800 GTX beforehand)

21 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2006-11-26 06:49 ID:tCphYhRj

I want to try a Wii, but I can't find any dammned demo units. Are they only south of the border in North America?

The Wii is excellent.

Most of the people over in /v/ don't seem to get the whole "innovative gameplay" thing. But I'm a convert even though I totally mocked my roommates for staying up all night at Target to get one. Once I got a chance to mess with it, I was won over. Congratulations to Nintendo and the people who've jumped on the bandwagon for putting gameplay and fun first.

If I get new roommates at some point or lose these ones, I'm going to have to get a Wii for myself.

24 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2006-12-03 16:50 ID:pRarykZQ

Wii revolutionizes gameplay. Now it`l feel like playing at the arcade centres in Japan.

I wonder if there`ll be similar controllers (not referring to the remote control shape, but to that motion sensor thing) for PS3?

25 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2006-12-04 04:33 ID:S5tFAU20

I love the new gameplay for Wii, but some games I think people should go out and play--- I saw a demo game for Wii Bowling. People playing it were really into it, and was fun to watch them play, but there's a bowling alley about 2 blocks away...

You won't sprain your fingers and crush your foot doing Wii Bowling. I think, anyway. It's also easier and (possibly) cheaper.

Something to be said for the real game, but I'd opt for tennis instead. I can find the shit for that lying around my house and play for free at the local park. :p

You won't sprain your fingers and crush your foot actually bowling, unless you're shit. The appeal in Wii Sports is pretty much that you don't have to leave your house.

i have a Wii.. it's fun to start with but if you cant afford new games it get's boring really fast. i really liekd the new Zelda thou and i have never been a zelda fan. anouther game that isent that fun at all is Red Steal, it sucked but it's new to me and a bit hard to play so im still hooked.

31 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2006-12-29 18:14 ID:LSeqWrGG

I've played the Wii at a friend's house, and am hooked. I'm not a console gamer (except for FF7, and Super Mario 64, back in those days). Right after I upgrade my comp (getting old now) I'll buy a Wii. I like Call of Duty, if you set the sensitivity down a bit.

I'm no sony-hater but geez they're not even trying to hide that they're copying nintendo lol

Durr. Add-on peripherals for consoles, unless they're drop-in replacements for something bundled, generally die a quick and lonely death; it's not worth spending the programming time to make games support them. See Nintendo's rumble paks, PS1's multitap, pretty much every peripheral Sega ever released, etc...

Actually, that might not be quite true in this case, because Wii ports may wish to preserve the original control scheme. I wouldn't count on this improving Sony's situation, though.

I have always been a die hard Nintendo fan. I do like Playstation and if PS3 wasnt half a grand, i would buy it. But i do have the Wii and enjoy it very much. What i like about nintendo is they are always trying new things with how to play video games, and they usually do well (not counting virtual boy which has its own little appeal) The most important thing about video gaming is to have fun in my opinion and Wii has that hands down.

35 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2007-01-06 08:46 ID:yZGESldH

My best friend just recently got a PS3, and it's been erroring alot. Also.. That thing is hugee. ˚Д˚

but really. I personally like the Wii better. Just 'cause I can move around and look stupid while playing a game. :3

599 US DOLLARS 599 US DOLLARS 599 US DOLLARS 599 US DOLLARS 599 US DOLLARS

37 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2007-01-07 07:47 ID:Heaven

then why is it that nintendo gains more profit than the playstation brand?

38 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2007-01-07 17:50 ID:3DIVSmYf

>>37
because playstations are sold at a loss and wiis are sold at a gain

therefor nintendo wins

WRONG

41 Name: Anonymous Gamer : 2007-01-08 15:12 ID:LrQPL2Wk

I mean, doesn't it make you feel all fuzzy and warm inside to know that Sony would rather bring you the PS3 at an affordable price then make a profit?

...No, not really, because they're still more attached to their shitty blu-ray then to actual gamers.

I'd like to get all the 7th Generation systems at some point, so the only factor for me is money. So, I have a Wii.

Also, there's the fact that Wii has plenty of games I want for it that are already out or coming soon. All PS3 has is Resistance, and Xbox 360 only has Dead Rising and Gears of War (which I've heard is too short anyway.) So far, all the Wii games I have I enjoy (ever since I sold Red Steel. God, that game was awful.)

I have to get a PS3 at some point because of Metal Gear 4 and FFXIII, (seeing as I'm a tool) but that may take a few years...
