Back on topic, I never pretended to fancy a young adult just because I used to fancy them as a child. Having said that, it was very hard to come out of the closet. As a teenager people didn't take it seriously, me included, but now it helps for therapists, family and selected friends to know how hard I have to struggle. Maybe someone else might be lead up to the subject in that way, I dunno.
