That's like saying, "I believe in Jesus, but I don't know what the bible says, am I a Christian?" (actually there's a less ambiguous definition for christians than furries, but you see my point I hope). It doesn't really matter whether you're a christian or not, what matters is that you believe in Jesus. That's what you are, someone who believes in Jesus, not someone who is a christian, not something else. Therefore, you are someone who likes to draw cartoon animals and that's all.
