Personally I'm real oldschool. If I went on a date (and it looks like I might be next week... Kiss), I would keep it simple, but elegant.

Maybe go see a movie? Let the chick choose. After that, a nice quiet dinner. I really like the Olive Garden, and it's a pretty romantic place. But, is it best to go to a movie and then go eat dinner...or eat dinner and then go to a movie?

The movie can be scrapped for something else obviously, but I think dinner would be important. It would allow me show off that I'm a gentlemen - holding doors open for the lady and stuff like that.
