Here's one thing that might be the problem. I have a hard time showing affection to the girl I like when I'm in a group...especially a group of mostly her friends. Now I'm not saying group dates are bad, but I know I wouldn't be able to show as much affection to a girl I liked with everyone around just because of my general shyness. Maybe that is it? Does he seem to like you more when you guys are alone together?
