love is just an abstract term for a similar feeling that is interpreted differently by every person at different points in their lives. with divorce rates as high as they are in this country, real love is about enduring someone. if the lifespan of a human wasnt so short, you wouldnt have all the fairytales about couples staying together forever. once two people become old enough that they are no longer physically attractive, the 'love' is completely different. if you choose to continue to endure the other person, its because youve come to understand and accept that person. most people never get that far, and theyd like to switch because their partners are no longer attractive, except they cant because neither are they.
