For me it's Aqua, damnit it all to hell I like this stuff.
I have something that beats all of your J-pop.
Spice Girls. It's 2007 and they are still cool in my books.
You mean ears, 'cause they're pretty cute IMHO, they just make Churuya-san youtube videos look smart and intellectually nourishing.

Same here.
That, and that fucking "Hey there Delilah" song by Plain White T's. It's so damned catchy, like something from a good movie soundtrack, and I find myself humming it at random intervals.
Like right now. I'm at a public terminal, and so i have to keep it restrained to my head, and that makes it worse.
Miko Miko Nurse.
...the words echo in my head constantly >_>
Celine Dion
I like the mainstream emo crap.
MCR, FOB, Panic!. How embarassing.
>>60
glad I don't have that problem :/
Jimmy Buffett, and Lil Jon but I think most people understand that's a guilty pleasure by definition
michael jackson, cuz his sucker life...
I like the pokemon theme a lot, one time I listened to it heaps! But it's hugely embarrassing when people find out...
UNDER17
because people will think I'm a pedophile
which is true lulz
James Bond theme-songs
I guess I feel kinda silly for liking "Nobody's Listening" by Linkin Park as much as I do.
It has a nice atmosphere, though, IMO.
eurobeat
.... Fall out Boy lol!
like, i usually listen to other bands like RHCP, Green Day, Guns N' Roses, Aerosmith and them, so listening to FOB is just embarrassing lol
Plus-Tech Squeeze Box.

I'd be more embarrassed by Aerosmith
Mika makes me bop like a freak.
Mariah Carey, because her fans are fucking idiots (The ones that call themselves "Lambs"). What is with obsessing over how many albums she's sold and what position she's at on Soundscan and the Billboard Top 40, R&B and Hip-Hop charts? Can't they just enjoy her music for what it is? Mindless pop and melodramatic ballads.
Oh man, I just thought of the perfect song for this thread. Probably my guiltiest pleasure is "Sumthin' Serious" by Audio Club (which has not released any other songs that I know of). It has lyrics like:
I can tell you've really got a crush on me, it's sumthin' serious
I put that hump on you
You need to G-R-I-N-D with me (It's sumthin' serious)
etc
which is not like any other music I listen to, also the male-rapped "verses" at the beginning are completely meaningless and inane. However, as long as nobody's looking, I love this song. It has almost videogamey sounding backing loops and stuff. I heard it on on a radio station being played over a PA at a mini-golf course in Florida in April, and when I got home I got an online buddy to find the MP3 for me. Embarrassing, but awesome. (I try to convince myself I like it in an ironic way. :)
POKEMON BATTLE THEME SONG!!!!
ahh.... all the music i listen to? it's almost all japanese. If the normal folks hear i listen to it, they... well, it's generally better they don't know. unless they happen to hear it while im listening to it- several people have been converted that way.
I have one song by Linkin Park I occasionally listen to, but I'm not sure why. I think it's because they sometimes played it during Korean Starcraft Tournaments, so it got stuck in my head that way.
And then there's my Lucky ☆ Star character song CDs...
After extended periods of listening to harsh noise I usually have to listen to UNDER17 for a bit in order to calm down.
All of the "girly" songs I have. I love them, they don't, why should they give a fuck?
any of it. no matter what it is, someone out there will bash it. people need to get the hell over themselves.
motteke sailor fuku, op song of lucky star... its cute if you're 10 y.o.
god it's A Cross Between Boyfiend From Full Metal Alchimest & The Notorous Cherry Bombs It's Hard To Kiss The Lips At Night
Paris Hilton
I know, I know, but for a pop album, it's pretty damn good...
>>83
There is no greater shame.
If there were any justice, MODD would close this thread now.
>>84
The thing is, Paris herself didn't actually write or produce the album; she hired competent pop music engineers to do it.
So the songs (from what I've read, haven't listened) are actually decent, even if they're not quite art.
Imogen Heap
>>86
Really? She's good.
I consider myself to be a music junkie, and I listen to basically everything, but I'd hate to admit that I enjoy Britney's new album and Soulja boy. ^^;
i like hash pipe, buddy holly and a couple other early weezer songs... i also like the butthole surfers and Frank Sinatra
Squeaky Japanese songs like Princess Bride (I would be MURDERED if people found out I liked that). And capsule. I'm still surprised that I like capsule, even... :(
>>89
What sort of messed up people do you roll with with whom liking Frank Sinatra is a liability?
Souja Boy is amazing.
Also everything Timbaland has touched.
People think I'd be ashamed of my love of ABBA, but I'm not at all.
I'm only ashamed that I like hellogoodbye, however bad they are.
LOLI RIPE
Morning Musume. I even like singing along to Aruiteru because it's so happy and awesome. Also, I love every damn song on their first best of album.
My girlfriend freaked out when she learned about this, because she thinks I only care about their looks. Fuck no, I love the songs themselves, because... the hell if I know. The only Japanese pop I dare listening to after that incident is TOKIO and Arashi. Boy bands lol
Malchick gay by TATu (The English one) It's so gay it's awesome.
I secretly like Fall Out Boy's new-ish CD.
Really, I've got a weakness for The [After] Life of the Party.
Urgh, but it's kind of shameful because I'm a snobby bitch about that kind of music. I'm such a hypocrite.
DQN-Kun
What's the point in hiding your interests? The more vocal you are about yourself, the more likely you are to attract someone who likes you for who you are.
Heh, I'd probably take more than a little shit from my friends for that japanese happy hardcore I listen to. But I don't take any action to hide it, it just never comes up.
OP is 955. GTFO.
