IRC should be anonymous where you get a random number and everyone talks without sharing names. You don't know who owns the channel either. Or atleast there should be an anonymous channel option. IRC in general isn't effective if the room has more than 20 active users. Too much text and it's impossible for everyone to keep up. It just turns into a spamfest. An elite is ALWAYS formed too. No matter what.
