What should I do in my life? (75)

Not that it helps anything, but I'm in a similar situation Ryuuchi. I work on stories, draw a little, and neglect my responsibility of getting a job. Sure, I bus down to the mall and look, turn in applications with a smile on my face, and banter with strangers, but it still feels like so little, as if no good will come of it. The only advice I can give is to say "I feel you, man, but it's time to keep moving". It doesn't help that I'm trying to work on however many projects, I'm sure, but doing something productive like writing at least is better than going back to video games. I do like them video games.

Anyhow, it's better to be slow at fitting into society than do nothing you love. And you ARE doing something you love, right? Music, writing... If you have any good short stories, there are places to submit them to for a few hundred dollars. Renowned places that pay more for writers they know. Intergalactic Medicine Show and Analog to name my favorites. IgMS takes fantasy and scifi and Analog is just scifi. Just saying, if you want a way to stay home and make money this is a good place to start.
