In many GUI environments, including Microsoft Windows and most desktop environments based on the X Window System, and in applications such as word processing software running in those environments, control-V can be used to paste text from the clipboard at the current cursor position. Control-V was one of a handful of keyboard sequences chosen by the program designers at Xerox PARC to control text editing. Presumably these particular keystrokes were chosen because of their location on a standard QWERTY keyboard, since the Z (undo), X (cut), C (copy), and V (paste) keys are located together at the left end of the bottom row of the standard QWERTY keyboard. The equivalent Mac OS key combination on Apple computers is Command-V.

A good suit of armour is not really hot, nor fatiguing to wear.

I've worn 20 lb chain suits for hours in 30+ *C weather. The trick is to wear little underneath, keep out of the sun, and drink water to keep yourself hydrated.

The fatigue will only occur if you're a scrawny out of shape wimp. Me? I'm 5'11" and 150-160 lbs with no real fat (just a bit soft around the belly); I can hold up a 10 lb shield for about an half in non-stop sparring before it starts to ache; my real sheild for competitions is -much- lighter. I also practice with a sword that's about 3x heavier than my real sword.

"maintaining" armour is.... really not that hard. A good suit of plate armour will be nearly impossible to actually break in a way that can't be temporarily fixed. The metal plates themselves aren't the real points of wear and tear; but straps, riveted joints, buckles, and other "joining points" are where an armour breaks. You can seriously just pack spare supplies, and a small repair kit of a small hammer, pliers, an awl, and shears with spare leather straps, the rivets and chain links that you use and two or three spare buckles.

The survivability that a suit of armour provides is literally -massive-. Sheilds provide even more defense. Not using either in situations where you can use them is seriously stupid.

I refuse to do anything else but Onii-chan.

I think it's kind of important to have uniformity as we translated. I put - between names and honorifics if that's what others intend to do, like Tatsuya-kun. Also I think Kampai should be "cheers". It may be the person translating that one instance was worried because the next line said "don't kampai" and don't cheers sounds awkward but we have a word for that in English 'toast'.

I've discovered single quotes work ' it's recognizable by the system so if someone's quoting someone else or if there's a need for quotes within text ' seems to be perfect.

i awaken. i don't know it at the moment, but this day marks my fourth straight year of existing in the dogscape. i push myself up from the carpet of writhing, twitching dogflesh beneath me and rise to my feet, stretching in the morning sun. it took me a while to learn to balance on the layer of solid dogs that now blankets every inch of solid ground, but nowadays i can walk and run as easily and as fast as i ever did on soil or concrete. perhaps faster.

this was a city once, i think, though which one i can't remember. i only owe my guess to the massive pillars of dogs jutting into the sky, perhaps ancient buildings now completely filled and overgrown by canine biomatter. i climbed one once, sinking my fingers and toes deep into the dogwall to gain purchase, and after hours and hours of climbing was rewarded with an incredible vista - fur and eyes, panting tongues and wagging tails, hugging the contours of the once-barren land and stretching in a single aeomebic mass farther than the eye can see.

now i don't do that, though. now i merely go about my day. i hike to the Gardens, where the dogplants sprout up in bizarre shapes from the floor of the dogscape, and reach up to pluck the fetal puppyfruits right off the wagging, energetic branches. i bite into the succulent flesh, the juices dribbling down my chin and dripping down to be reabsorbed by the groundflesh, and revel in the savory taste. i'm thirsty, so i range until i find one of the Mothermounds, and there i suckle at a teatpatch until i've had my fill of milk. sometimes i see other humans around me, as well-adapted to the dogscape as i am, but i barely acknowledge them, say nothing. what, after all, is there to say? the world is different now - what meaning would our old words have?

free-ranging dogs are becoming rarer and rarer to see now, and those i do see seem as lost, as passive as i am. they too graze on the dogplants, step carefully over the undulating, bleeding dogfloor, dimly acknowledge myself and one another. in the distant sky, and on the far horizon, i sometimes see massive forms sail or crawl or undulate, and i wonder if in this new world normal, singular, ambulatory dogs have become as obsolete as i am

I'm only posting this here to see that you see this - Pets ads should go under "pets", not "free" ... but your email link didn't work. This ad will be removed by me later today.

Please do not give away animals for free. It puts your cats at a TREMENDOUS risk of being taken and used a bait in dog fights, or sold to labs or underground dealers who will mistreat them. Another risk unique mostly to October and early November is that someone would take the animal and use it in a satanic ritual involving the sacrifice of a dark (preferably black) cat. I know none of your cats are solid black, but it's still not worth the risk.

It is best to ask a reasonable adoption fee for each cat. A reasonable fee for altered, adult cats in good health is anywhere from 15 to 40 dollars a piece. This would partially be influenced by age. I am Director of Whitelace Cat Haven, a small cat rescue serving NE Phila and South Jersey. If these cats were in the foster system here, we would probably mark the fees as Wendy (30), Belle (30) and Chloe (15), due to their ages but the fact that they are already fixed. Perhaps you could offer that if someone takes two, you will waive one fee?

Please consider this, as I only want what is best for your cats and I am sure you do as well.

As I can see your reading comprehension skills are lacking, I'll reiterate.
"I just watched up to the latest episode of Needless after dropping it after the first episode, reason being I thought it was pretty shit. It's actually pretty entertaining, in a Gintama meets Darker Than Black meets Moetan kind of way. It's by no means perfect, but it is better than a lot of stuff airing this season.
I think it was episode 4 or 5 where the show really started being above average, whatever one the Pretty Girl Squad shows up in.
Just don't drop it after the first couple like I did, it does get better.
