What you have described is an initialism and not an acronym. Because English writers have largely opted to reject the old convention of using punctuation for initialisms, the screen readers should have been updated to derive it from context as human readers, and screen reader users have trained to listen for.

Please consider the feelings of human beings, and not knuckle-dragging mother-fucking /prog/rammer mongs who cannot do their jobs correctly.
