In the meantime, if you're looking for company, try being more active in your community by attending events and various club/group activities. My suggestion is to not look for "top quality people" since that sets a high expectation for whoever you're meeting (which I doubt people on this site would meet those expectations IRL). But you should be okay with that since you said you can get along with anyone.
Anyways, I'd be lying if I said I knew how to make good friends. But I think you're doing a good job by putting yourself out there even if it's just on this website at first. Good luck!
