I had mine out years ago and they gave me oxy for the pain iirc. I missed a few of the scheduled doses, didn't notice any difference at all, and stopped taking it. I still don't actually know what painkillers are supposed to "feel" like, and I'm frankly a bit scared to find out. The nitrous oxide, on the other hand, was absolutely fantastic and I'd totally do that again.
