I do see race, but I was talking about music, I don't know why you started talking about African Americans. I just thought it was funny saying it was a niche interest for black people, but for 20 years the biggest star has been a white redneck. Unless you mean, in the past in the past? Like 80s? Maybe where you're from it's a niche but it's always been pretty mainstream here, I remember at the turn of the century most of the videos on the music channels were Urban Music. Even my parents liked Run-DMC and De La Soul and stuff.
