Tell your tales of Punctual Gomez and his brothers here.
A one point in his life Punctual Gomez was a criminal. Despite being always on time for everything, he just could not pay his debts; forced to turn to the life of crime he applied to his local gang run by Felon Gomez (no relation). Punctual Gomez was assigned to be one of the gangs longer running cons, selling parking tickets for public parking lots. It's more of a rite of passage since most newer gang members can't stand sitting in a booth for 8 hours a day and joined the gang mostly for the status. After a while Punctual Gomez gets moved up the ladder (illegal street food vendor --> selling bootleg discs of movies in theaters at the flea market --> pretending to be a cop and writing up traffic and parking violations --> door to door threats for money --> selling banned literature --> high ranking gang member) and finally has enough money to move back to regular work. Right after Punctual Gomez left the gang the cops busted them, so he got out at the right time.

I once sent an invitation to Punctual Gomez and he RSVPed right away.
I finally got Punctual Gomez. He called me exactly an hour later than he said he would! I was halfway out the door, ready to yell to the world that Punctual Gomez was late when I realized I'd forgotten to set the clock forward for daylight saving time.
Punctual Gomez has two doppelgangers: Puncture Gomez and Punctuate Gomez. Puncture Gomez is currently serving a short sentence for going on a tire-slashing spree; Punctuate Gomez loves short sentences, long sentences, and pretty much every sentence that contains a properly-used semicolon or em-dash.
That's the literal definition of a meme, should we just keep posting the same stale poorly translated 15 year old 2ch copypasta for the rest of eternity instead? Branching out is the only way to keep things fresh.

There's a difference between an in-joke and a meme. An in-joke doesn't have to be funny; it is merely a vehicle to foster a bond forged from shared experiences, which is one of very few things you can bond with via an anonymous forum. If you think that's shallow, then maybe it is - but so is any social behavior when stripped of everything but its core purpose. So enjoy it. Or let other people enjoy it, and don't be mad when they do.
They say Punctual Gomez was born exactly nine months after conception. They say he's going to die someday, right on time.

Wow, that's a really hilarious joke! Comedic genius! Amazing! Hahahahahahaha! Wow, I love your posts so much! This is the epitome of humor! Punctual Gomez, hahahahahahahaha!
Punctual Gomez? Pfft how lame! Now Immortal Gomez is where it's at. Sure he might be early or late by a few minutes most of the time but he's been around longer so it's understandable.
