“It always seems impossible until it is done”
That was some fart I just did there wow
Does EVERYONE love their own stinking flatulence?
I don't think there's ever been a time where I farted and thought "ugh, bad!"
I will also start a [COUNTDOWN] let's get >>2000 on the 20000th day of this month thread nearer the time
JUICE
bombacloth
>>652 I think it's a sign of someone who does not change up their diet often
Is it selfish to fart under my blanket so only I can smell it?
( ゚ -゚) Yeah I don't think we'll be getting >>1000 until the 10000th
Well, I guess it's time to start posting again.
Uh, what do I post about?
What have I posted about before?
Something about vitamin supplements and milk?
Why would I talk about that? No one cares.
Ah, we're almost 2/3 of the way there. That's cool.
Oh well, too late now.
I was going to go for a walk today...
I guess I still can, although it's starting to get dark.
Well, I've gone for walks in the dark before.
I think the forecast was that it's going to snow tomorrow.
I hope it settles.
Doubt it, though.
I've lived here for seven or eight years, and we've only had snow actually settle once.
Wait, how long have I lived here?
I moved here in Autumn 2013.
So, a bit over seven years.
That's a weird thought.
That's some pretty art.
It's amazing some of the things people make with text alone.
I've done a few little bits of SJIS art myself for the Clonepa or Grandpa threads, but they weren't too impressive.
I don't know how people pull off some of the ones I've seen.
I vaguely recall hearing that there's software that lets you effectively trace an image with text?
Kinda disappointing if that's all it is, but it makes sense.
Wow, my captcha was bitchen.
Maybe I should've saved that for the captcha thread.
Too late.
But you know what's not too late?
It's totally doable.
We're most of the way there already!
And we've got more than 24 hours left.
I bet we'll make it with hours to spare.
At least there's no realistic chance of us hitting >>1000 early.
Didn't the admin mention some fun surprises for the 10000th?
I wonder what he has in store for us!
Perhaps I should stay up until midnight just to find out.
I've been trying to go to bed earlier, without much success.
Late nights are just too comfy.
This thread has literally just become me posting my current thought.
In fact, these posts would fit better in the "post your current thought" thread than 90% of the posts that actually are there.
It's basically just the casual chat thread, rather than really about posting what you're thinking about right at that moment.
That's not a criticism, just an observation.
gotta make do with what we have
From reading some of the old instalments of that thread, I think it had left its stated purpose by about the second or third thread anyway.
getting up piss early is still very nice, but it can never beat staying up until 4
A casual chat thread is probably more good for the community than a thread full of disjointed passing thoughts, anyway.
I've seen text/imageboards that are literally nothing but casual chatting of that sort.
There don't seem to be as many cute little messageboard communities as there were...
And the ones that are still here, tend to not have the same feeling about them any more.
Sic transit, and all that, I guess.
Maybe it's just my imagination.
Perhaps they are out there, but I just haven't kept up with the new ones.
That's very possible.
Perhaps there are actually really nice little online communities in places I wouldn't expect, or would never check.
Who knows, maybe there's a perfect little subreddit that I'd enjoy and feel right at home in?
But I'll never know, because I simply don't go there.
Gosh, it's gotten noticeably darker outside since I started posting.
There's always something melancholy about the sky at dusk...
The warm glow of sunlight is ebbing away, but the stars haven't yet come out.
And there's the realisation that the day is ending, and you have less and less time remaining to do anything.
Once it's actually dark, different times all look the same, it's just the clock that changes.
So, I guess sunset is the biggest visual indication of the day ending.
I missed my chance to go for a walk while it was still light...
Well, there's always tomorrow.
There's still today, if I want.
I didn't go for a walk yesterday, so I probably should.
For quite a while, I was in the habit of going for a walk every day.
In fact, my commute to work used to be walking for half an hour each way through meadows and parkland.
It sucked in winter, as everything was damp and muddy, but it was lovely in summer.
Are you supposed to capitalise the names of seasons?
I can never remember.
I feel like you should, because you capitalise the names of months, weekdays, etc.
But I have a feeling I looked it up and you actually aren't supposed to...
Yeah, I just looked it up now, and I was right.
I wonder why?
I guess you don't capitalise times of day, like dawn or dusk.
But then why do we capitalise the names of months, and days of the week?
Weird.
I've been going a while, now...
I think almost all of the last eighty posts were mine.
Remember the previous versions of this thread?
Gosh, there were some really fun ones.
There were plenty of fun moments in the others too, though.
I should go back and reread those.
I guess now's the time for it, right?
