I have fear that people will dislike me if I reveal my real self to them. So I lie if I like something, and say I hate it or pretend not to care. Many people are so interesting but the only people who are my friends are people who I personally find uninteresting and boring. If I become interesting in someone I talk to them too much and end up driving them away.

Also scared about being an egoist, the fact this is a fear at all means it's true.
