Have you done it? Myself, I've never done it. I may have wanted to, but I've never followed through.
If you've done it:
How did you do it?
Do you feel guilty?
Did you think about the risks of getting caught?
I'm really curious about what drives someone to steal.
I've not done it, and I don't want to do it. I don't think I'd feel guilty about it if I did, but the risks of getting caught are too high.
Also it's just stupid and anyone who posts below who says that they do it are stupid.
Stupid.

Stealing is the coolest thing a person could do

Way to shit on the thread you fag. This thread is about coming clean about something that is a touchy subject. It's not about stealing "because it's cool." Idiot.
Hmm... I'm a big warez'ed user and DVD rip/fansub watcher. Other than software that came with hardware I bought, I don't own any of the software on my comp one would normally pay for.
When I was 12, I stole a pack of gum from a dollar store. I think it was because I had heard other kids in my class mentioning that they did it, so I wanted to try it once.
Oh,
How did you do it? I took a pack of gum off the display and slipped it into my pocket while in a place that they couldn't monitor me, looking interested in something else.
Do you feel guilty? Not now, lol. It was just gum. Right after I porbably did.
Did you think about the risks of getting caught? I thought it would be sort of risky to get caught, but I didn't think of specific risks. I'm more of the "I'll just make sure not to get caught, then" kind of guys.
One time for weeks it seemed in middle school, I was getting packs of Pokémon cards from Target. I was also getting Yu-Gi-Oh! cards too, but those were harder to open inside the store because they had that cardboard backing on them. I never did anything with the cards, I just colleceted them.

Of course it doesn't.
Warez is equal to copying something, leaving the original copy in the store. Similar to those who rent a movie (VHS/DVD/whatever) and copy it.
Or for the comedy option:
Warez is equal to going to the library and copying every page out of one book by hand (using a pencil even). How fun!
Although, if someone has done that 2nd thing, I'd love to know.
I stole an airplane identification card (I think it's WWII British airplanes) from a library book 7 to 8 years ago. I threw it away last month when I found it with the pile of books I have.

Libraries are free anyway. Well... not always. I think it's like sneaking into a cinema to watch a film without paying. Except you're not taking up seats. Perhaps... using a telescope to watch through the window.

where I live, libraries charge a nominal sign-up fee, and the rest comes out of your taxes one way or another. cheap, sure, but not 'free' as such
I stole a Turkish kid's gameboy in 2nd grade.
I went into his back pack during lunch when no one was in the class room and pocketed it. Played with it for weeks with no guilt until my mom knew something was up and asked where I got that gameboy. Me being the little shit I was said I found it on the street but she didn't buy that and interrogated me till I spilt the beans. This is where a bit of guilt kicked in. Ended up having to write a letter to the kid and have a talk with my teacher. I didn't really care, I wrote a load of crap in that letter and nodded to anything my teacher said during the conference. I stole it because I felt the desire to have it for myself no other reasons. Came with this awesome mecha rpg game. Gonna look for that game on ebay one of these days.
lol necro bump
