Imagine you're new to the site, you go on and you see an almost 10 year old thread with no replies since the year of it's creation, except for one man who claims to be reviving the board. This creates the impression of a dead board, and effectively kills the site by discouraging new posters.
Stop this please. You aren't helping the site by making a post with no content. If you want to improve 4-ch, try starting a conversation about an interesting topic, instead of making a post for the sake of "helping" increase activity.
Also, moderators, please permasage threads such as this one that have been necrobumbed for no good reason.
