PoC folk due to white systemic racism, colonization and gentrification are unable to experience animal life due to being restricted to inner cities and impoverished neighborhoods, furthermore innocent Black folk are put at risk of physical and emotional violence caused by untamed animals such as pit bulls and police k9 units which stem from white supremacy and environmental racism.
