Thought it would be a good idea to sit on the pedal of an elliptical while I was playing vidya, and then the pedal moved and dug into my flesh. I thought it was just a scrape at first, but when I saw the smooth white layer underneath and the skin hanging from my leg, I knew it was more serious.
Surprisingly, it didn't hurt anymore than a regular scrape when it happened. Kinda a reverse papercut, in where the pain and damage done are in no way proportional to each other.
Got gauze and tape on my leg now. Anyone else got an injury like that recently?

And (5) I do not have abnormal emotions. I am pretty easy going, but I was feeling quite sad yesterday; thinking back, the reason I was feeling sad was somewhat unjustified. Most of the time I am not sad.

OP again, and yet another injury happened to me, so I thought I'd re-enter the thread.
So, I frequent this little place by the beach. It doesn't have all that much sand, being next to the highway and all, but it's nice and quiet, save for the scant fisherpeople. Sometimes whole families. Anyways, I go with my electric scooter and ride on the walkway next to this waterway(again, I don't really know what word is best fitting for this). As I reach the end, there's some sand mixing in with the gravel. You can probably see where this ends.
On my way down, I was lucky enough to catch my fall, and unlucky enough that bits of gravel made wound on my hand. Deeper than your typical scrape, but not quite a full blown cut. Had to go get peroxide and bandages from the Rite Aid 20 minutes away so I wouldn't get an infection. Shit hurt more than the injury. In fact, I didn't even really feel the pain until the wind started blowing five minutes later.
I often think that I'm the main character of a Nickelodeon sitcom,
considering all the stuff that I could write about. If I remember something more bizarre, I'll make another thread.
