I concede on forecast. But I do think time is important if your making calls internationally or moving through time zones. A basic web browser to browse chans. Plus, if you catch a couple cops acting like pigs and record a video, you should be able to upload it online quick before they beat you to a pulp and break your device. At the end of the day, things like a basic alarm and clock function don’t add much bloat and are basic. But aren’t there other things we’ve missed out here?

>headphone jack and the ability to connect to radio via headphones
>is a flip phone or has a slide or flip function
>is capable of storing mp3 files (i don’t want to lug around a music player too)
>self destruct function capable of wiping any internal and external storage and rendering the device inoperable
