So how often do you people with names or tripcodes post anonymously?

I pretty much post nameless all the time.
I don't see the use for names mostly and I think there are more often than not just creating drama and problems instead of contributing something useful or funny.

True, but there are definitely some "personalities" on the boards, and I was wondering whether they kept using them through laziness or if they occasionally took the effort to erase the name..

I occasionally take the effort to put my name in the name field.

I occasionally take the effort to remove my name in the name field.

I use a handle perhaps twice or trice a month, maybe not. There's usually no need for it, lolocaust taught me that lesson a long time ago.

i took the effort to put my name in the name field for this post. i almost never use a name anymore... it's so much easier to post anonymously...

I take out or put in my name on purpose sometimes, and other times I just leave it in if it was already there, or leave it out if wasn't. If I'm just posting shit, that usually means Anonymous Sage. Also, if I'm going to criticize someone, I usually do it anonymously, because I don't want to pretend that whatever fame I might have would make my opinion worth any more or less than anyone else's.

My name is Squeeks and most posts that I make are without my name or trip. I can't use capcodes either anymore, and I only ever used them to give a more "official word" when posting stuff, so people knew it was an admin and not another user.

I'll only use a name when im referencing that I posted something else within the same topic, and that name would just be the post number.

It's never happened on 4-ch but a few times on 4chan i've used a name because I saw another friend of mine or something post. Only happened a few times though, my handle is used mostly for other, more traditional forums, irc, instant messaging applications, etc.

I never post using a trip, except if its on my boards.

I never post anonymously.

I use trip only if i feel it's important that someone doesn't impersonate me later on in that thread and even then i keep the name the default one of that section.
